About The Position

This is a clinical position where the incumbent is held to high professional standards. The Clinician will provide direct Behavioral Health services to program, complete required clinical documentation, and casework. The Clinician will provide education about recovery and wellness, will guide and offer support in the development of skills and behaviors necessary to recover.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or any area of Human Services, which includes a practicum/internship in a health or human service agency required with Behavioral Health training/ experience.
  • Experience in performing individual and group therapy required.
  • Valid PA criminal check, FBI clearance and PA child abuse clearance required.
  • Strong clinical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience working with the adult population who have Substance Abuse, SMI, Cooccurring illness/DA, forensics and trauma.
  • Ability to complete clinical and administrative documentation as required by agency standards.

Responsibilities

  • Complete intake process, which includes Biopsychosocial assessments and other screening tools to assess need for treatment.
  • Completes 302 crisis support, group/individual, and family therapy.
  • Collaborate with staff, psychiatrists, and other supporters in developing and coordinating treatment plans in accordance with participant interests and desires.
  • Completes individual treatment/recovery plans every 90 days and other clinical documentation to maintain clinical records in compliance with regulatory and Agency requirements including crisis and discharge plans.
  • Completes administrative documentation as required by Agency guidelines including daily documentation and case notes.
  • Completes request for information, informational summaries and other correspondence as required.
  • Assess other functional, behaviors and life-skill needs that may impede recovery and make referral to appropriate supports.
  • Participate in staff meetings, in-service training, staff development and clinical case conferences as required.
  • Community visitation supports such as hospitals, crisis centers etc. Supports community outings and events to assist with their recovery goals.
  • When applicable, recommends and makes appropriate referrals to other programs within and outside the Agency; completes all program documentation forms including incident reports.
  • Travels on a minimal basis to assist clients with their recovery goals.
  • Attend all scheduled supervision sessions with immediate supervisor or designee.
  • Completes all required training for their discipline (required for maintaining credentials) as well as Psychiatric Rehabilitation training.
  • Will complete all Psychiatric Rehabilitation trainings and is expected to take the Certification examination within two years of hire.
  • Must provide Face to Face individual sessions and therapy groups.
  • Provides support to 24-hour Warmline for members in services.
  • Provide Telehealth services for connection/reconnection/organization and visitation if needed.
  • Attend clinical team meetings.
  • Schedule consistent meetings with Psychiatrist and Program Director.
  • Receive a minimum of 18 hours of training per year.
  • Participate in biweekly supervisions.
  • Attend all mandatory training courses.
  • Attend regularly scheduled staff meetings.
  • Support overall program development.
  • Support maintaining a safe and open environment.
  • Attend and be part of Special Events and Projects.
  • Performs other duties and special projects assigned.
