About The Position

This internship supports initiatives that help drive Sargento’s growth across retailer eCommerce and Omni-Channel platforms. The intern will work cross-functionally with Omni-Channel, Brand, IMC, and Sales teams to gain hands-on experience in retail media, eCommerce, emerging technology, and digital shopper experiences.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or other related field, having completed junior year of a bachelor’s degree or year one in a master’s degree prior to the start of internship
  • Must have a minimum GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and effectively communicate and present to others.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematics or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
  • Familiarity with digital media tactics including social media and its application as a marketing tool.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle required.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor competitive activity and emerging eCommerce trends across key retailers such as Walmart, Kroger, Albertsons, and Meijer, translating findings into actionable insights for the broader team.
  • Gain exposure to Retail Media Networks and understand how brands connect with shoppers across retailer websites, apps, digital media, and in-store experiences.
  • Research evolving eCommerce capabilities, including AI, new technologies, platforms, and tools, and identify opportunities that could enhance the shopper experience or improve how we work.
  • Partner cross-functionally on priority Omni-Channel initiatives, supporting research, analysis, campaign support, and other project needs.
  • Participate in Omni-Channel meetings and business updates, helping develop insights, presentations, and materials that clearly communicate key findings and recommendations.
