About The Position

We are looking for passionate, emerging clinicians to join our Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC) team and begin their journey making a lasting impact on children, adolescents, and families. The Children's Guild is a nonprofit organization and affiliate of TranZed Alliance — one of the most experienced child-serving organizations in the Greater Baltimore/Washington region. Our OMHC provides evidence-based, trauma-informed outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and families across multiple locations in Maryland and Washington, D.C. Our interdisciplinary team includes therapists, clinicians, psychiatrists, case managers, and school-based professionals — all united by a shared commitment to helping every child thrive. This is an excellent opportunity for a new or early-career clinician to grow their skills in a supportive, mission-driven environment.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required)
  • Graduate licensure in Maryland or D.C. (LMSW, LGPC, or equivalent); candidates awaiting licensure encouraged to apply
  • Genuine passion for working with children, adolescents, and families
  • Basic knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents with diverse mental health needs
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy) under clinical supervision
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with COMAR, HIPAA, and agency standards
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, case managers, and school staff
  • Engage families as active partners in the therapeutic process
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
