About The Position
Snowbird’s Oktoberfest is one of the largest and most anticipated festivals in Utah, welcoming thousands of guests each year. Running from mid-August through mid-October, this vibrant event brings together live entertainment, authentic cuisine, family-friendly activities, and, of course, world-class brews. We are seeking enthusiastic, service-driven individuals to join our Oktoberfest team and help deliver exceptional guest experiences in a dynamic, high-energy environment. As an Oktoberfest Festival Server (21+), you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable festival atmosphere. Reporting to the Oktoberfest Leadership Team, you will provide outstanding food and beverage service while maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and professionalism.
Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Positive attitude with strong teamwork skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
- Strong communication skills (English proficiency required)
- Ability to follow direction and work independently when needed
- Must obtain Food Handler Permit and Alcohol Service Certification by training date (August 1 or 2)
Nice To Haves
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred (not required)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional guest service by exceeding customer expectations
- Serve food and beverages in compliance with all safety and sanitation standards
- Verify guest identification and responsibly serve alcohol while following the RASP (Responsible Alcohol Service Policy) laws
- Operate POS and handle transactions accurately
- Assist with food service, beer pouring, and maintaining service stations
- Bus tables, restock supplies, and maintain cleanliness throughout the venue
- Support event setup and teardown activities
- Complete assigned side work and adapt to various roles as needed
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and successful event operations
