About The Position
Hitachi Energy in Alamo, TN is recruiting for an OIP Condenser Bushings Builder. Applicants must be able to assemble, process (including impregnation, if required) fit for shipping of all power bushings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of one year manufacturing experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Access and read drawings
- Run required SAP transactions
- Foil cutting and spring assembly
- Assemble bushings according to procedures, specifications and customer requirements
- Keep work area free from clutter, and clean and free of all contaminants
- Work with materials such as paper, oil, gaskets, various metal parts, (aluminum, copper, and steel) epoxy compounds, glass, sealants, porcelain, and foil
- May be required to give information to engineering, purchasing, customer service and shipping
- Train continuously on new equipment or new processes within the organization, based upon assignment
