Sun Energy Services LLC d/b/a Deep Well Services’ Zelienople, PA office, seeks Oil Snubbing Technicians/ Technologists (multiple openings) to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, or computer generated reports; research performance of, improve design of, evaluate the efficiency and worthiness of, install, operate, and maintain mechanical products, equipment, systems and processes to meet requirements; confer with engineer or other personnel to implement current and develop and improve on new operating procedures, research and resolve system malfunctions, or provide technical information. The technology that is being researched, installed and maintained is hydraulic completion units that are used to snub pipe in and out of gas wells in long lateral, high pressure operations. These hydraulic completion units contain many different hydraulic components that are continuously reviewed, monitored and analyzed to ensure they are operating efficiently, effectively and safely. The duties associated with these units include assessing job parameters and equipment to ensure they are operating within customer specifications. Equipment is adjusted, repaired and mechanically tested to facilitate proper technical operations. Supervisory duties include supervising all rig up and rig down operations of equipment; training crew members to adhere to safety and company standards; tracking accountability and performance of crew members; evaluating competency levels of crew members; providing training and mentoring to crew members on industry best practices; and accurately reporting all daily crew hours for payroll purposes. The specific tasks of crew members include tallying and drifting pipe, general labor duties, operating of snubbing unit, conducting BOP drills, testing of all equipment, etc.
