About The Position

The Oil Processing Technician II will be part of the team responsible for weighing, measuring, and filling medical marijuana derivatives utilizing Thompson Duke, ATG, Versa, etc, in the appropriate container for resale at company dispensaries, while meeting tight production deadlines. Requirements

  • Basic computer skills
  • Exceptionally strong math and counting skills

  • 6 months in the Oil Processing Technician I role
  • Ensure timeliness of return from breaks
  • Work in a fast-paced controlled environment
  • Work with chemicals, oils, and sharp objects
  • 1+ year in working with processing quality at Trulieve
  • Able to work under minimum supervision
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Able to manage changes in working schedule
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age (or a minimum of 18 years of age in CT, PA and WV)
  • Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening

Nice To Haves

  • Controls and instrumentation experience preferred
  • Working in a cGMP manufacturing environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Operate filling equipment (Thompson Duke, ETG, Versa, etc.) and ensure fill rates are within quality specifications.
  • Perform changeovers, basic troubleshooting, and basic preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Replace dispensing needles in equipment at proper increments to ensure optimal production and prevent contamination.
  • Train Oil Processing Technician I roles.
  • Weigh, measure, and fill various types of medical marijuana derivatives into appropriate containers accurately and efficiently.
  • Perform and document quality checks of incoming material, process, and finished goods.
  • Document and escalate equipment issues to maintenance and leadership.
  • Label containers with appropriate product labels, variable data labels, state-mandated tags, and tamper tape.
  • Package, document, and ensure proper counts and tracking documentation of case packs.
  • Maintain quality control measures for high-quality packaging.
  • Maintain the highest levels of cleanliness and sterility within the packaging area per cGMP and Trulieve standards.
