About The Position

The Oil Processing Technician I works on the processing team, weighing, measuring, and filling medical marijuana derivatives into appropriate containers for resale at company dispensaries. The role requires accurate, efficient work while meeting production deadlines and following quality, packaging, cleanliness, and tracking standards. The position is based in Hancock, Maryland, and is hourly and non-exempt.

Requirements

Basic computer skills.
Exceptionally strong math and counting skills.
Ability to focus, stay on task, and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work productively in a group environment.
Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
Dependability and reliable transportation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, controlled environment with chemicals, oils, and sharp objects.
Ability to work with minimal supervision and under pressure.
Ability to manage changes in the work schedule.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be at least 21 years old, or at least 18 in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, or West Virginia.
Must successfully complete a comprehensive background screening.

Responsibilities

Accurately and efficiently weigh, measure, and fill medical marijuana derivatives into appropriate containers.
Perform and document quality checks of incoming materials, processing, and finished goods.
Label containers with product and variable-data labels, state-mandated tags, and tamper tape as needed.
Package products, document case packs, and ensure accurate counts and tracking documentation.
Maintain quality-control measures to ensure high-quality product packaging.
Maintain cleanliness and sterility in the packaging area in accordance with cGMP and Trulieve standards.
Return from breaks on time.
