About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is seeking friendly and energetic full-time crew members and lube techs to join their growing team. The company has been in business for over 35 years and prides itself on its friendly technicians, oil change expertise, and efficient process that allows customers to stay in their vehicles. Take 5 offers a "Pit Tech to President" growth path, with over 90% of their field leaders being internal promotions. This role is ideal for individuals who are people-oriented, self-motivated, and enjoy working with cars. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training will be provided.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude
Nice To Haves
- Experience as a server, restaurant worker, mechanic, retail employee, landscaper, or other skilled trade worker
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil, change oil filter
- Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
- Inspect and top off fluids
- Perform coolant exchanges
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
- Maintain cleanliness of work environment
- Provide excellent customer service
