About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; the company provides training in oil changes, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires, and other light maintenance services. Team members should be willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude. The role offers pay up to $15 per hour including base pay and commissions. Paid training can support advancement, and the company notes that more than 90% of Shop Managers started as lube technicians. Full-time and flexible schedules are available.
Requirements
- No experience required; must be willing to learn and work hard.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
- Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
- Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off fluids.
- Perform coolant exchanges.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service.
