About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is looking for friendly and energetic team members to join their family. They are seeking full-time crew members and lube techs who are people-oriented, self-motivated, and have a love for working with cars. No experience is required as the company provides training for lube technicians to perform oil changes, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires, and conduct other light maintenance services. The company emphasizes a 'Pit Tech to President' growth path, with over 90% of field leaders being internal promotions. Successful lube technicians can earn up to $15/hr with base pay and commissions. Many successful technicians have joined with no prior experience, coming from diverse backgrounds such as servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, and landscapers. The company offers paid training to help team members advance into leadership roles with salaries and bonuses.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Must be over 18 years of age (over 16 years of age in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming)

Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil
- Change oil filter
- Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
- Inspect and top off fluids
- Perform coolant exchanges
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
- Maintain cleanliness of work environment
- Provide excellent customer service
