About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Team members learn to perform oil changes and other light maintenance services, including replacing wiper blades and air filters and checking tire pressure. The role offers base pay of $11.00–$13.90 per hour for this location, with potential commissions or bonus incentives. Advancement opportunities are available, with more than 90% of Shop Managers having started as lube technicians. Full-time employees receive paid time off, and the company offers health, vision, and dental insurance. Flexible schedules are available, and employees can access up to 50% of earned wages through myFlexPay.

Requirements

• No experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is expected.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, except in the listed states where applicants may be over 16.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain floor inventory.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
