About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking friendly and energetic full-time crew members and lube techs. No experience is required as training will be provided. This role involves performing oil changes, replacing wiper blades and air filters, filling tires with air, and other light maintenance services. The company offers a growth path from Pit Tech to President, with over 90% of field leaders being internal promotions. Successful lube technicians have come from various backgrounds including servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, landscapers, and other skilled trade workers. The company emphasizes rapid advancement, with over 90% of Shop Managers starting as lube techs. Paid training is provided to help team members advance into leadership roles with salaries and bonuses.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
• Must be over 18 years of age (over 16 years of age in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming)

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil
• Change oil filter
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Perform coolant exchanges
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain cleanliness of work environment
• Provide excellent customer service
