About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring an Oil Change Team Member to provide oil changes and light vehicle maintenance while delivering friendly, efficient customer service. No prior experience is required; the company provides training to develop team members into lube technicians. The role offers pay of up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions, and opportunities for advancement. Full-time and flexible schedules are described as available, but this specific opening is part-time. Team members work in a shop environment and may need to work in hot or cold weather. The position involves physical activity, including lifting, maneuvering into and out of a shallow service pit, and standing or moving for extended periods. Reliable transportation to and from the shop is required.

Requirements

No prior experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is expected.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
Must be over 18 years of age, except applicants over 16 may qualify in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
