About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is a well-established neighborhood oil change service with over 35 years of experience, known for its friendly technicians, expertise, and efficient process that allows customers to remain in their vehicles. The company is actively seeking friendly and energetic team members for various positions across the country, including this full-time Oil Change Team Member role, also referred to as a crew member or lube tech. No prior experience is required, as comprehensive paid training is provided to equip new hires with the skills needed to perform tasks such as draining motor oil, changing oil filters, washing windshields, adjusting tire pressure, inspecting and topping off fluids, and performing coolant exchanges. Requirements

• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
• Be willing to learn
• Work hard
• Bring a positive attitude to the shop

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil, change oil filter
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Perform coolant exchanges
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain cleanliness of work environment
• Provide excellent customer service
