About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is seeking friendly and energetic full-time crew members and lube techs to join their growing team. The company has been in business for over 35 years and prides itself on its friendly technicians, oil change expertise, and efficient process. They offer a 'Pit Tech to President' growth path, with over 90% of their field leaders being internal promotions. This role provides an opportunity to showcase skills and learn how to perform oil changes, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires, and perform other light maintenance services. No prior experience is required, as the company provides training. Successful technicians often come from diverse backgrounds such as servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, landscapers, and other skilled trades.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
- Must be over 18 years of age (over 16 years of age in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming)

Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil, change oil filter
- Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
- Inspect and top off fluids
- Perform coolant exchanges
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
- Maintain cleanliness of work environment
- Provide excellent customer service
