About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking friendly and energetic full-time crew members and lube techs to join their family. With over 35 years of experience, Take 5 Oil Change prides itself on friendly technicians, oil change expertise, and an efficient process that gets customers on their way safely and swiftly, all while they remain in the comfort of their vehicle. The company offers a "Pit Tech to President" growth path, with over 90% of field leaders being internal promotions. This role provides an opportunity to showcase skills and learn how to perform oil changes, replace wiper blades/air filters, fill tires, and conduct other light maintenance services. No experience is required, as paid training is provided to help team members advance within the company. Successful lube technicians have joined with no prior experience, while others came from backgrounds such as servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, landscapers, and other skilled trades.

Requirements

Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
Must be over 18 years of age (over 16 years of age in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming)
