About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided to teach team members oil changes, wiper blade and air filter replacement, tire inflation, and other light maintenance services. The role suits people who are self-motivated, enjoy working with cars, and bring a positive attitude. Compensation is up to $15 per hour through base pay and commissions, with weekly bonuses available. Take 5 offers a Pit Tech to President advancement path, and over 90% of Shop Managers started as lube technicians.

Requirements

• No experience required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to safely position under vehicles.
• Able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
