About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; the company provides training to perform oil changes, replace wiper blades and air filters, add air to tires, and provide other light maintenance services. The role is suited to people who enjoy working with cars and customers and are willing to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude. Pay is up to $15 per hour with base pay and commissions. Paid training supports advancement within the company, including opportunities to move into leadership roles.

Requirements

• No prior experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is needed.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
• Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
• Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
• Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
• Inspect and top off fluids.
• Perform coolant exchanges.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Provide excellent customer service.
