About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring a part-time Oil Change Team Member. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided to teach team members how to perform oil changes and other light vehicle maintenance. The role involves working in a shop environment and providing friendly, efficient service to customers. The position offers pay of up to $15 per hour with base pay and commissions, and access to earned wages through myFlexPay. The company describes opportunities to advance into leadership roles.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow, 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
- Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
- Must be over 18 years of age, or over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
- Willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude.
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off fluids.
- Perform coolant exchanges.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service.
