About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is hiring full-time crew members and lube technicians. No prior experience is required; paid training is provided. Team members learn to change oil, replace wiper blades and air filters, fill tires, and perform other light maintenance services. The role offers an opportunity to advance within the company, where more than 90% of shop managers started as lube technicians. Compensation is up to $15 per hour, including base pay and commissions. The company also offers weekly bonuses and access to earned wages through myFlexPay. Full-time and flexible schedules are available.
Requirements
- No experience is required; willingness to learn, work hard, and bring a positive attitude is expected.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3-foot-deep pit to position safely under cars.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning for extended periods.
- Must be willing to work in hot or cold weather conditions when necessary.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.
- Must be over 18 years of age, except applicants may be over 16 in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming.
Responsibilities
- Drain motor oil and change oil filters.
- Wash windshields and adjust tire pressure.
- Inspect and top off fluids.
- Perform coolant exchanges.
- Restock and maintain inventory on the floor.
- Maintain a clean work environment.
- Provide excellent customer service.
