About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking friendly and energetic team members to join their growing team. This is an opportunity to showcase your skills as a full-time crew member and lube tech. No experience is required as training will be provided for oil changes, wiper blade/air filter replacement, tire inflation, and other light maintenance services. The company emphasizes a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and hard work. There is a clear growth path from Pit Tech to President, with over 90% of field leaders being internal promotions. Successful lube technicians have come from various backgrounds, including servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, landscapers, and skilled trade workers.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop
• Must be over 18 years of age (over 16 years of age in Arizona, Idaho, Kansas, New Mexico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, and Wyoming)

Responsibilities

• Drain motor oil
• Change oil filter
• Wash windshield and adjust tire pressure
• Inspect and top off fluids
• Perform coolant exchanges
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain cleanliness of work environment
• Provide excellent customer service
