About The Position
Take 5 Oil Change is seeking customer service-oriented individuals to join our growing team as Assistant Shop Managers. We offer paid training for individuals with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, regardless of prior experience. Many successful employees have come from diverse backgrounds such as servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, and landscapers. Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
- Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position safely under cars.
- Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
- Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service and process payments for services.
- Assume responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in their absence.
- Manage the shop floor, ensuring employees are in their correct positions, all vehicle checks are completed, and customers are satisfied.
- Perform opening and closing procedures for the shop.
- Assist with inventory counting and adjustments.
- Train new employees according to Take 5 procedures.
- Perform oil changes, including draining motor oil and changing oil filters, and other light auto maintenance services.
- Restock and maintain inventory levels.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathrooms.
