About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking customer service-oriented individuals to join their team as Assistant Shop Managers. This role offers paid training and opportunities for rapid advancement, with over 90% of Shop Managers promoted internally. Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning.
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payments for services.
• Assume responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in their absence.
• Manage the shop floor, ensuring employees are in their correct positions, all vehicle checks are completed, and customers are satisfied.
• Perform opening and closing procedures for the shop.
• Assist with inventory counting and adjustments.
• Train new employees according to the Take 5 method.
• Perform oil changes, including draining motor oil and changing oil filters, and other light auto maintenance services.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the shop floor.
• Maintain cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathrooms.
