About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking customer-focused and driven individuals to join their team as Assistant Shop Managers. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals to develop leadership skills within a growing company. While experience is valued, it is not required, and Take 5 provides comprehensive paid training for all new hires. Requirements

Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop

Nice To Haves

Experience in customer service, restaurant work, mechanics, retail, landscaping, or other skilled trades is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service and process payment for services performed
Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager’s absence
Run the floor, ensuring employees are in their correct positions, all vehicle services are checked, and customers are satisfied
Perform opening and closing procedures
Assist with counting and adjusting inventory
Train new employees according to Take 5 standards
Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services
Restock and maintain inventory levels
Maintain cleanliness of the shop, office, and bathrooms
