About The Position

Take 5 Oil Change is looking for friendly and energetic team members to join their family. They have a Pit Tech to President growth path, and over 90% of their field leaders are internal promotions. This role offers an opportunity to showcase leadership skills and join a growing team. Experience is valued but not required, and successful employees have come from various backgrounds such as servers, restaurant workers, mechanics, retail employees, landscapers, and other skilled trade workers. The company provides paid training on managing a shop, changing oil, replacing wiper blades/air filters, filling tires, and performing other light maintenance services. Motivated team members can advance quickly to become Take 5 leaders earning salaries and bonuses.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds
• Must be able to maneuver in and out of a shallow 3’ deep pit to position yourself safely under cars
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, stoop, twist, etc. for extended periods of time and perform activities involving holding, grasping, pulling, and turning
• Must be willing to work in hot/cold weather conditions if necessary
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payment for services performed
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager’s absence
• Run the floor (making sure each employee is where they need to be, ensuring everything has been checked on each vehicle, and every customer is satisfied before they leave)
• Perform opening and closing procedures
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory
• Train new employees to fulfill duties in the Take 5 way
• Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other auto services as necessary
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness
