About The Position

The Lead Integration Solutions Engineer is responsible for the analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and ongoing support of Oracle Fusion interfaces and related integration solutions across both business and clinical systems. This role also leads the resolution of complex technical issues through advanced debugging, research, and investigation – in a high high-volume, enterprise-level integration environment. The engineer will support nearly 300 integrations across Fusion HCM, Financials, SCM, and PPM using tools such as OIC, OTBI, BIP, HDL, BICC, SQL, APIs, REST/SOAP web services, and ATP. This position plays a critical role in supporting HCM benefits administration, Financials period close activities, and timely issue resolution. This position also requires a deep understanding of the clients’ custom solutions designed to meet complex business requirements and the ability to act as the technical lead for troubleshooting and resolving complex integration issues.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of progressively responsible experience in a directly related area, during which both technical and professional capabilities have been clearly demonstrated is required.
  • Application specific certifications must be acquired and maintained.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) platform and knowledge of best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, REST/SOAP web services, JSON, XML, and XSLT.
  • Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud, HCM, or SCM integrations.
  • Familiarity with Oracle BI Publisher and Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building end‑to‑end integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including practical expertise with REST and SOAP APIs and a solid understanding of how integrations feed BI Publisher and OTBI reporting.
  • 3+ years of experience integrating with Oracle Fusion Financials modules such as GL, AP, AR, and Procurement and should have strong data conversion experience in Cloud, with the ability to design integrations that include robust error handling and monitoring.
  • Experience with Visual Builder Studio (VBS) to support UI extensions and Oracle-approved customizations.

Nice To Haves

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or higher in computer science, mathematics, or a related field is preferred.
  • Additional familiarity with tools like BICC, VBCS, or Oracle APEX considered an asset.
  • Experience with Boomi.
  • Moving from Kronos to UKG cloud for time keeping and Boomi is backend technology.
