About The Position

This role involves traveling to customer sites, both on and offshore, to address operational problems with equipment. The technician will perform pre-work safety analyses, assess and repair equipment, and serve as a communication link between the company and clients. Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all communications and reporting, maintaining a safe work environment in compliance with company, client, and OSHA standards, and performing behavioral safety observations. The position also involves training and mentoring new employees, conveying knowledge gained from training sessions, and being available for on-call and off-shift work as required. The job requires the use of basic hand and measurement tools, involves some lifting, bending, and prolonged standing, and necessitates the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Overtime, including some weekends, may be required. The technician must fulfill all company safety training requirements, adhere to customer site requirements, complete CWX service documentation, and exercise the stop-work authority program. Following company policies and procedures, and collaborating with development and support staff to maintain product knowledge and ensure precise stakeholder communications are also key aspects of the role. Travel is required up to 15% of the time, and other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Graduate
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Automated Valve repair experience all brands.
  • Repair and service of various types of isolation valves. Gate, globe, check, butterfly and ball.
  • PVAM work scope and documentation.
  • Valve greasing all types. Use of all PVAM pumps and fluids.
  • All pneumatic actuator repairs
  • Relief valve services. Pilot and conventional type.
  • PVSV repairs and inspection.
  • Flame arrestor inspection and service.
  • General working knowledge of machinery fundamentals, including Relief Valves, Pneumatic Safety Systems, and Valves
  • General knowledge of Oil and Gas well pad and processing plant equipment and processes
  • Prior success in working as self-directed field worker

  • Proficiency in MS Office Products is required – especially OUTLOOK, EXCEL, and WORD

Responsibilities
