Offloader - Final Mile
About The Position
This is a physical warehouse position focused on unloading tractor trailer loads of furniture and staging it for deliveries. The role involves ensuring items are assembled according to manufacturer directions, performing a minimum daily assembly output, and reporting any defects or damages immediately. The Offloader will maintain a clean and safe workspace, properly dispose of waste, and interact professionally with Drive Teams. They will use equipment properly for safety, follow delivery processes to meet customer expectations, and assist the Delivery Driver with item placement. Reporting customer satisfaction issues and communicating effectively with coworkers, customers, and supervisors are key aspects of the role. A continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance, along with the ability to work a flexible schedule, is required.
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent experience
- One plus years transportation / Logistics / customer product assembly / delivery of furniture or appliances, or experience with a moving company
- Must be 18 years old
- Able to perform the essential functions of the job
- Speak English and communicate with coworkers
- Read assembly instructions
Responsibilities
- Unloading tractor trailer loads of furniture

- Reporting any defects or damages of any parts immediately to the management
- Maintaining a clean and safe workspace and environment
- Properly disposing of all waste accumulated during the assembly process
- Performing professionally and effectively when interacting with Drive Teams
- Using equipment properly to ensure the safety of all team members
- Following delivery processes to ensure Customer expectations are met and/or exceeded
- Assisting the Delivery Driver execute the placement of delivery items as specified by the Customer
- Reporting all customer satisfaction issues to the management
- Communicating effectively
- Getting along with co-workers, customers, and supervisors

- Maintaining a continuous pattern of regular and prompt attendance
