About The Position

This position will ensure safety and security to Resorts World property utilizing K9. K9 Handlers will respond to potential emergency situations, medical incidents, disturbances on property.

Requirements

Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays and Black outs.
Minimum high school diploma.
At least 21 years old.
2 yrs. previous K-9 handling experience.
Proof of eligibility to work in the United States
Ability to obtain Nevada Gaming Registration
Ability to obtain Alcohol Awareness Card
Ability to obtain Nevada Drivers’ License
Ability to obtain CPR certification

Nice To Haves

Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
Military/K9 handler experience

Responsibilities

Maintain the health and safety of Resorts World K9
Maintain the upkeep of K-9 Kennels and Transportation Kennel
Respond to unattended packages alert security management if needed.
Respond to emergency situations.
Work closely with law enforcement personnel to ensure safety to the property.
Prepare written incident reports and documentation.
Operate company vehicles.
Complete a 40hr Security Academy within 30 days of hire.
Pass quarterly K-9 training and yearly certification.
Knowledge of Radio calls/ Manage emergency calls.
Use personal device/cellular phone for job related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc.
Perform other job-related duties as requested.
