Officer, Project Controls
About The Position
This role supports cost control, forecasting, and reporting across multiple projects within Newmont's Red Chris Mine. The Officer, Project Controls will monitor budgets, track variances, provide insights, and coordinate with various stakeholders including contractors, project managers, and site teams. The position involves maintaining contract data, invoicing, and project financials in ERP systems, as well as contributing to planning, scheduling, and project performance reviews. Assistance with logistics coordination is also a key part of the role to ensure efficient project delivery.
Requirements
- Several years’ experience in project controls, cost tracking, or similar
- Familiarity with cost management and project delivery processes
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with tools such as SAP, Primavera, MS Project, or similar systems
- Willingness to work in a remote, fly-in, fly-out environment

- Relevant qualification in engineering, finance, or related discipline
