About The Position

Froedtert West Bend Hospital Foundation supports current and future priorities of Froedtert West Bend Hospital that enhance the patient care experience, programs, services, and strategic initiatives. This position plays a key role in growing the Foundation's philanthropic impact by developing and implementing annual giving strategies, cultivating new donor relationships, strengthening donor retention, delivering meaningful stewardship experiences, and building a sustainable pipeline of future major gift prospects. In addition, this role is responsible for the planning and execution of the Foundation's fundraising events, overseeing event management, corporate sponsorships, venue coordination, volunteer engagement, and event logistics to ensure an exceptional donor and guest experiences and successful fundraising outcomes.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in fund raising, with demonstrated success in fund raising, is required.
  • Excellent written, oral, and communication skills
  • In depth knowledge of current fund raising practices
  • Ability to work effectively with external business partners, donors and volunteers, and in cultivating new relationships
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • General computer skills required such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), navigating the internet and email, and understanding basic file management (creating, saving, and organizing files)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with an emphasis on donor relationship development and fundraising event execution preferred.
  • Experience with Raiser's Edge or similar donor database software is preferred.
  • Field of Philanthropic Studies, Communications, Marketing or Liberal Arts preferred.
