About The Position
A well-established, high-volume grocery retailer is looking to modernize its back-office operations. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys diving into how a business runs, spotting inefficiencies, and rolling out better systems for data entry, reporting, and vendor coordination.
Requirements
- Strong computer and software skills; genuinely enjoys working with systems and technology
- Self-starter who takes initiative without needing to be told what to do
Nice To Haves
- Prior grocery or retail experience a plus
- Comfortable learning and collaborating with outside vendors
Responsibilities
- Spend time learning how each department currently operates
- Identify opportunities to modernize outdated data entry and reporting processes
- Recommend and help implement more efficient tools and workflows
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the company's point-of-sale/technology provider
- Track and follow through on pending system upgrades and available features
- Ensure system capabilities are being fully utilized
- Support leadership with accurate, up-to-date sales and inventory reporting
- Help build more precise cost-tracking for products
