Office Support/Sample Login Specialist - Eurofins Drinking Water and Wastewater Northeast
About The Position
This position serves as a support role for the laboratory, ensuring the efficient and accurate running of a fast-paced laboratory. The role involves greeting clients, vendors, and visitors, answering general questions, and processing daily mail and small shipments of bottle kits. Eurofins Environment Testing provides full-service environmental analysis across the US, supporting public and private clients with comprehensive testing for air, water, soil, sediment, tissue, and waste.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong computer, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivated, adaptable, and a positive attitude
- Handle moderate stress in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented- Data Entry
- Ability to prioritize
- Customer Service
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
- Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including the ability to read, write and speak in English.
Nice To Haves
- Further education in biological or chemical science preferred
- Experience in a fast pace work environment
- Lab experience and exposure to environmental industry preferred.
- TALS experience a plus
- Science based background preferred
Responsibilities
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Collect samples from on-site drop box
- Unpack shipments and document receipt of sample
- Organize and record samples
- Data entry into LIMS (TALS experience a PLUS)
- Maintenance of the department and lab, including stocking supplies and housekeeping
- Assist with customer services
- Handle interactions with walk-in clients
- Conduct all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Process daily mail and small shipments of bottle kits.
- Provide great customer Service to walk in clients.
- Perform other duties as assigned
