About The Position

Office Support II performs intermediate-level duties to support general office or school based operations, programs, and functions including: payroll, budget, data management; and maintenance of business records. The Box Office Manager supports Denver School of the Art's year-round performance calendar by managing ticketing operations, coordinating volunteers, processing revenue, and maintaining the performance website. This is a part-time position that varies seasonally, averaging 20 hours per week over the school year. The Box Office Manager is the point person for families purchasing tickets, for venues hosting DSA performances, and for the administrative team tracking ticket revenue. This role requires strong organizational skills, comfort with technology, and an ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure smooth performance experiences.

Requirements

  • High School diploma, completion of G.E.D., or equivalent, required.
  • Three (3) or more years’ experience in administrative/clerical work or combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated intermediate-level knowledge and experience with computer-based spreadsheet, data base, and word processing software.
  • Demonstrated experience producing various general office documents, analysis and recommendations.
  • Bilingual skills may be required based on work location

Responsibilities

  • Performs research, data management, and reporting on school based or department data needs
  • Organize, extract and input data/information using district applications and other network computer software, protect privacy, confidentiality, student and employee data according to FERPA and district policy.
  • Monitor and track invoices and budget expenditures.
  • Prepares and processes purchasing and accounting documents
  • Process payroll and timekeeping requests.
  • Provide additional support for other operational needs such as student safety, including delegated nursing duties, according to District training and procedures.
  • Respond to administrative requests.
  • Provide information and assistance to various stakeholders which may include DPS employees, vendors, and community members.
