About The Position

This position provides a variety of administrative support services for the East Bureau – OSH Compliance Raleigh Field Office. Duties include: greeting in a professional manner members of the public, drafting and typing documents, filing, process referrals and complaints, setup new inspection files, prepare documents for USPS and Certified Mail, maintain and process surplus requests, and prepare files for collections.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to respond cordially and effectively to public inquiries
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail
  • Ability to complete tasks with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with others
  • Ability to carry out general instructions, both written and oral
  • Competency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Applicant must live within a 50-mile radius of the office or relocate within 30 days of job acceptance.
  • The selected candidate must obtain notary certification within 90 days of the hire date and maintain an active notary commission throughout employment.
  • Experience with office processes and equipment in a large office environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with SQL MDI database systems is preferred.
  • Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking both Spanish and English is preferred.
