About The Position

Moneta is seeking an enthusiastic Office Services Intern who is eager to gain real-world experience while delivering exceptional service in a professional office environment. Based in our St. Louis office, this role offers hands-on exposure to daily operations and the opportunity to support teams across the firm. In this position, you’ll assist with receptionist coverage, help manage office supply inventory, and support mailroom operations. You’ll also play a key role in maintaining mail room equipment, ensuring spaces and tools are ready for team use, and tracking and reporting on assigned responsibilities. As part of your development, you’ll serve as the primary backup for our receptionist, gaining valuable communication and organizational experience. Requirements

  • High school diploma or currently pursuing a college degree; local St. Louis students preferred as this role requires a fully onsite presence in our St. Louis office
  • Interest in office operations, administration, or professional services; prior office or customer-facing experience is a plus but not required
  • Comfortable learning and using office equipment such as copiers, postage machines, and mail processing tools
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to assist with phone coverage and front-desk support
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook), with a desire to continue building technical skills

Responsibilities

  • Greeting visitors and directing them appropriately
  • Notify relevant employees when visitors arrive
  • Answer visitors’ questions, calls, and emails and provide them with relevant information
  • Follow security procedures, such as monitoring the log book and issuing visitor badges
  • Organize the reception area while complying with office procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Arrange meetings and schedules for conference rooms and visitors
  • Sign for deliveries at the front desk and make sure they are distributed accordingly
  • Assists with the distribution of incoming mail and packages
  • Assists with inventory of office supplies
  • Assists with mailroom equipment (binding machines, copiers, postage machine, UPS machine)
  • Assists with various projects as needed
