About The Position
This full-time position will maintain official statewide death investigation reporting records for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME). This information is of such importance that it must be retained into perpetuity.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
- One year of experience performing clerical duties.
- Experience with office practices, procedures and equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with and/or knowledge of medical terminology (spelling and comprehension)
- Experience typing and/or transcribing vital information (necessary for autopsy reports and other related documents)
Responsibilities
- Maintain official statewide death investigation reporting records for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME).
- Retain death investigation reporting records into perpetuity.
