About The Position
A leading GEICO Local agency is looking for an Office Representative who is ready to learn, grow, and build a successful career in insurance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys sales and wants an environment where hard work is rewarded with strong earning potential. We welcome candidates with backgrounds in sales, customer service, hospitality, entrepreneurship, retail, or other people-focused industries. If you're coachable, competitive, dependable, and willing to put in the work, we'll help you learn the industry and develop your skills. Spanish/English bilingual skills are highly preferred.
Requirements
- Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Sales or prospecting experience preferred.
- A "hunter" mentality and desire to win new business.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
- Positive, confident, and professional personality.
- Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
- Organized with good time-management skills.
- Comfortable learning new technology and systems.
- Coachable and willing to continuously improve.
- Enjoys working in a team environment.
- Must be willing to obtain the required insurance licenses upon hire.

Responsibilities
- Prospect for new customers through community and local business outreach.
- Connect with potential customers and uncover their insurance needs.
- Educate customers on coverage options and insurance benefits.
- Prepare and present appropriate insurance solutions.
- Build relationships with new and existing customers.
- Follow up with prospects and turn opportunities into business.
- Provide excellent service by phone, email, and in person.
- Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
- Participate in training, coaching, and professional development.
