About The Position

This role is for an Office Operations Assistant in Primary Care at Ascension Medical Group in Miramar Beach, FL. The position is full-time, day shift. The assistant will be responsible for greeting patients, managing check-in/check-out processes, obtaining necessary documentation, verifying insurance authorizations, completing medical record release requests, scheduling appointments, collecting co-payments, and reconciling daily reports and deposits.

Requirements

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and visitors, check patients in and out, and obtain necessary documentation.
  • Obtain and verify insurance authorizations/precertification.
  • Complete medical record release requests and schedule/confirm patient appointments.
  • Collect co-payments and reconcile all daily reports and deposits for accuracy.
