About The Position

This student intern role offers an opportunity to support the Office of the Inspector General by gaining hands-on experience in auditing, investigations, policy review, and performance evaluation within a government oversight setting. Interns will apply key competencies such as the ability to analyze information for reliability and validity, strong problem-solving and communication skills, creativity in developing solutions, and the capacity to evaluate rules, policies, and procedures for their impact. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is also essential for success in this role.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (or equivalent)
  • Be at least part-time and currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
  • Maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 for undergraduate students or minimum GPA of 3.0 for graduate students
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Inspector General with auditing activities, including evaluating information for reliability and validity.
