About The Position

The Wound Care Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct and indirect patient care in an outpatient wound care clinic setting under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The nurse collaborates with other professionals to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes.

Requirements

Graduate of approved school of practical nursing.
Current NC or compact state LPN license, BLS certification.
ACLS certification required within one (1) year of employment or as available courses allow.
Computer experience in word processing, database programs and spreadsheets.
Excellent organizational skills, oral and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Additional wound care education.
One year of supervised experience as a wound care LPN.
