About The Position

Link Engineering Company (LINK) is a premier designer and manufacturer of precision test equipment, specializing in customized solutions for Automotive, Aviation, Off-Highway, Rail, and Civil Engineering industries. We are seeking a talented Office Manager to coordinate and manage daily office operations effectively, providing cross-functional support across the organization. This role involves overseeing general office administration, purchasing and vendor activities, billing and accounting processes, DOT regulatory compliance, and administrative support for other LINK North American Testing locations. Additionally, the Office Manager will act as the local Human Resources champion and liaison, assisting with HR initiatives, supporting employees and management, and promoting a positive and well-organized workplace.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an office environment or relevant work experience
  • Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work well under pressure
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform general office management duties, including ordering supplies, maintaining records, coordinating shipping and receiving, and welcoming visitors to the facility.
  • Support facility purchasing, ensuring expenses are charged to the correct accounts and/or job numbers. Provide cross-functional purchasing support to the other LNAT business units as needed, as directed by the purchasing manager.
  • Ensure administrative compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations for all vehicles operating on public roads under LINK Engineering’s DOT number. Support employees with Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) management and maintenance.
  • Serve as the local liaison and champion for Human Resources. Assist with onboarding, maintain working knowledge of the Link Engineering employee handbook and benefits package to support employees, and communicate regularly with the corporate HR team.
  • Create, manage and close out jobs (sales orders) throughout their execution. Provide labor and material cost data to the engineering team for job billing and submit monthly billing data to accounting for invoicing.
  • Managing workplace accidents in accordance with established protocols.
  • Recommending operation or procedural improvements to increase efficiency across the organization.
  • Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
  • All other related duties as assigned.
