About The Position

Victoria Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is seeking an experienced Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our practice. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing office operations, developing and supporting the team, driving operational efficiency, and partnering with our surgeons to deliver an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate is a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment, values accountability, and is committed to building a positive, high-performing team.

Requirements

  • Three or more years of management experience in a dental, oral surgery, periodontal, or medical practice preferred.
  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a team.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with dental practice management software is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and support front office and clinical team members.
  • Foster a positive, professional, and accountable team culture.
  • Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance management.
  • Support employee engagement and help resolve workplace concerns.
  • Conduct team meetings and communicate company initiatives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the practice.
  • Ensure efficient scheduling, patient flow, and office productivity.
  • Coordinate staffing schedules to support daily operations.
  • Maintain office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships.
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows and office efficiency.
  • Monitor operational performance and practice goals.
  • Assist with payroll, timecard approvals, and administrative reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies.
  • Partner with the surgeons and corporate leadership to achieve operational and financial objectives.
  • Support the successful implementation of new processes and initiatives.
  • Ensure every patient receives exceptional customer service from check-in through follow-up care.
  • Professionally resolve patient concerns and service issues.
  • Help create a welcoming, compassionate, and efficient environment for patients and their families.
