About The Position

The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the branch to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and exceptional customer service. This role manages warehouse and inventory functions, coordinates logistics, supports sales teams, and leads branch personnel while maintaining strong operational and administrative controls.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in office management, operations management, or a related leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all day-to-day branch operations, including warehouse, shipping/receiving, delivery coordination, inventory management, and customer support activities.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and productivity throughout the branch.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve workflow, reduce errors, and increase operational performance.
  • Monitor branch expenses and support efforts to meet profitability goals.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through cycle counts, audits, and inventory control procedures.
  • Coordinate receiving, stocking, order fulfillment, and shipping activities.
  • Minimize inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and obsolete stock.
  • Ensure warehouse organization, cleanliness, and proper material handling practices.
  • Supervise branch personnel, including warehouse staff, customer service representatives, drivers, and administrative team members.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate employees to drive strong performance and professional development.
  • Establish clear performance expectations and accountability standards.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment focused on teamwork and continuous improvement.
  • Support inside and outside sales teams by ensuring timely and accurate order processing, delivery coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships by ensuring high service levels, responsiveness and satisfaction.
  • Assist with resolving customer concerns, shipment issues, and operational challenges.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to support customer requirements and project timelines.
  • Assist with purchasing, expense management, and operational reporting.
  • Manage branch documentation, reporting, and administrative functions.
  • Partner with company leadership on operational planning and strategic initiatives.
