About The Position

NHC HomeCare Athens is looking for a FULL TIME Office Manager to join our team! This role involves maintaining accurate daily census records, classifying charges between distinct service areas, recording charges for processing in an automated accounts receivable system, and accurately and timely billing all parties for services rendered. The Office Manager will also assist the administrator in the collection of accounts receivable, which requires an understanding of reimbursement procedures including state and federal contracts like Medicaid, Medicare, VA, and private insurance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent and formal classroom business management education or two years business management experience.
  • Proficiency in writing, communication, and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure of deadlines and interruptions while being well organized, persistent, and a team player.
  • Good communication and analytical skills with the particular ability to pay attention to details.

Nice To Haves

  • Understanding of reimbursement procedures including state and federal contracts, i.e., Medicaid, Medicare, VA, private insurance, etc.
