About The Position

Goodwin University Magnet School System is actively recruiting (1) Long Term SSS Office Manager. The rate for this role will be $190/day through January 2027. This role involves greeting students, parents, and other guests in a professional and warm manner, managing incoming visitors, handling main office phone calls using a multi-line phone system, taking accurate and concise messages, and participating in phone coverage for the front office. The Office Manager will also manage mail (incoming, outgoing, and distribution) and the door system. This position requires being a courteous, collaborative, and supportive team member, handling routine verbal communications and correspondence, and typing accurately and effectively. Experience with a variety of software programs is necessary. The role includes assisting with the copying, collation, and distribution of various staff materials, managing supply inventory, and following procedures for ordering replacements. Specific duties include managing student sign-in/out passes, employee mailboxes, conference space reservations, bus passes for scholars, emergency binders, name plates for classrooms, and scholar parking passes. The Office Manager must stay knowledgeable on current initiatives, communications, and policies affecting staff, students, and parents, and operate all office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and shredders. Other appropriate duties will be assigned by the Principal, Assistant Principal, or designee.
