About The Position

Sigicom Canada Inc. is seeking an Office Manager to join their Ottawa office. This role is central to supporting the company's growing Canadian operations, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the office, and providing administrative, financial, operational, and customer support. The Office Manager will work closely with the General Manager and international colleagues to coordinate office administration, customer orders, logistics, finance, and service operations. This is a broad, hands-on role for someone who enjoys taking ownership, creating structure, and supporting a growing organization.

Requirements

  • Experience in office management, administration, operations, finance, or a similar coordinating role.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good understanding of invoicing and basic accounting processes.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating with colleagues across international teams.
  • Must live in or around the Ottawa area.
  • Must hold a valid work permit.
  • Must be able to work from the office 5 days per week.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a small or medium-sized business is an advantage.
  • Experience coordinating logistics, purchasing, or inventory is beneficial.
  • French is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a professional, safe, and well-functioning office environment.
  • Coordinate office facilities, supplies, service providers, and workplace-related activities.
  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and general office administration.
  • Coordinate purchasing, inventory management, incoming and outgoing deliveries, and warehouse administration.
  • Maintain accurate ERP and operational records.
  • Support rental fleet, calibration, and service operations.
  • Manage invoicing activities, including hardware orders, rentals, calibration, and service invoices.
  • Support credit control, credit memos, overdue debt collection, and customer account administration.
  • Ensure accurate handling of financial and delivery documentation.
  • Coordinate communication and collaboration between departments and external stakeholders.
  • Support management, marketing activities, and business improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the local coordinator for IT support, workplace safety, and office-related compliance activities.
