About The Position

The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily office operations and providing leadership support to administrative staff. This role ensures the Winnipeg and Brandon offices are properly staffed, maintained, supplied, and operating in accordance with company standards, safety protocols, and budget expectations.

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, coach, and support assigned office staff in their day-to-day responsibilities.
  • Conduct performance appraisals and provide regular feedback to help employees meet expectations and develop in their roles.
  • Ensure both offices are adequately staffed to support business needs.
  • Assist with the hiring process for open positions, including supporting interviews, onboarding, and training where required.
  • Oversee office-related requests and operational needs for both the Winnipeg and Brandon locations.
  • Ensure both offices are clean, organized, safe, and functioning effectively.
  • Coordinate office services such as cleaning, lighting, alarm systems, supplies, maintenance, and other facility-related requirements.
  • Monitor and maintain appropriate office supplies while operating within the approved budget.
  • Ensure safety protocols, training requirements, and office procedures are followed consistently.
  • Provide ongoing support to the Brandon office to ensure staff have the tools, resources, and guidance needed to perform effectively.
  • Complete a minimum of one visit per month to the Brandon office, or more frequently as required by business needs.
  • Address site-specific concerns and escalate issues to the direct manager when appropriate.
  • Complete day-to-day tasks and special assignments as directed by the direct manager.
  • Support administrative priorities outside the regular scope of office operations when required.
  • Communicate updates, concerns, staffing needs, and budget considerations to the direct manager in a timely manner.
