About The Position

Goodwin University Magnet School System is actively recruiting (1) Long Term SSS Office Manager. The rate for this role will be $190/day through January 2027. This position involves greeting students, parents, and other guests in a professional and warm manner, managing incoming visitors, handling multi-line phone systems, taking accurate messages, and participating in phone coverage for the front office. The role also includes managing mail (incoming, outgoing, and distribution), operating a door system, and serving as a courteous, collaborative, and supportive team member. Responsibilities extend to handling routine verbal communications and correspondence, typing accurately, assisting with copying, collation, and distribution of staff materials, and managing supply inventory with procedures for ordering replacements. Specific tasks include managing student sign-in/out passes, employee mailboxes, conference space reservations, bus passes for scholars, emergency binders, name plates for classrooms, and scholar parking passes. The Office Manager must stay knowledgeable on current initiatives, communications, and policies relevant to staff, students, and parents, and operate all office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and shredders. Other appropriate duties may be assigned by the Principal, Assistant Principal, or designee.

Requirements

  • High School Education
  • Receptionist/clerical experience required.
  • Bilingual (Preferred)

Responsibilities
